Congrats to the new nurses!
More than 11,225 out of 29,188 who took the Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE) in May 2014 passed the boards, translating to a 38.46% passing rate.
The Nursing Board Exam was given by the Board of Nursing last month and administered in the cities of Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Cabanatuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The Top 3 universities with the highest passing rate (perfect 100%) are:
- West Visayas State University-La Paz (100% passing rate — 139 passers out of 139 examinees);
- Cebu Normal University (100% — 78 of 78); and
- Silliman University (100% — 53 of 53)
