As of July 1, 2009, there are 1,709 confirmed cases of Influenza A(H1N1) or Swine Flu in the Philippines.
All cases showed only mild symptoms and 1,485 or 86% of the cases have fully recovered. One swine flu death, however, was reported — a 49-year-old woman who had heart disease.
