Despite a surge right after the Erap guilty verdict was handed out, the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) closed slightly lower last week, with most investors remaining on the sidelines waiting for the results of the US Federal Reserve policy meeting on September 18.
The main index closed at 3,294.55, down by 1.5% from the previous week.
