About Zark’s Burgers
The business started with one stall situated along Taft Avenue in 2009. Its founder was then 23-year-old Rolanderi Viktor Varona or “Zark” and his burger creations were named Zark’s Burgers, which became the company’s name.
From an 18-seater restaurant, Zark’s first store expanded to 120 seats just after a year. They soon opened additional branches in BF Parañaque and in Katipunan, Quezon City. The business further expanded reach when they opened their first mall branch in SM North Edsa. This was then followed by store openings in the Visayas region, specifically in Cebu, Bacolod, and Iloilo. Currently, there are more than 30 branches of Zark’s Burgers nationwide.
Zark’s takes pride in its distinct recipe of American-style burgers and currently, their popular food offerings include:
- Tombstone – an 8-patty burger with four slices of American cheddar
- Jawbreaker – triple cheese burger with spam, bacon, and cheese
- Ultimate Zark’s Burger
- Luther Burger, which uses doughnuts instead of buns
- Thunder Mac ‘N Cheese
- Deep-Fried Bacon-Wrapped Burger
The company has been famous for their “Jawbreaker Challenge” wherein customers who can finish a jawbreaker burger, together with fries and ice tea, in 5 minutes or less get to have it for free.
